Qin Mu’er’s Eternal Peace Outfit designs released – check out the incredible details on his new silk attire

As Chinese donghua Tales of Herding Gods‘ Qin Mu’er continues to grow up, both his tastes and what he wears have been changing.

And now that he has left the Disabled Elderly Village and is truly the young Cult Master of the Heavenly Saint Cult, the members of the cult have made sure he has the right outfit befitting their ‘Young Master” before he sets off on his travels.

Mu’er’s sect members make his Eternal Peace Outfit

Mu’er is given that outfit at the beginning of Tales of Herding Gods, Episode 33, right before he sets off on his voyage to find the Eternal Peace Empire. (rewatch that scene below)

Called ‘The Eternal Peace Outfit, his sect members tell him, it is

made from silk woven from the hundred venom golden silkworms, and was sewn by 100 disciples from the Embroidery Hall, who made it impervious to swords and spears. immune to fire and water, and with the ability to ward off all poisons.

If Mu’er wants it to, it can even conceal his aura.

The outfit is then looked at in more detail at the end of Episode 33, as animation studio Sparkly Key points out everything that makes Mu’er’s new attire special.

I don’t know about you, but I love those ‘easter egg’ designs at the end of each episode of Tales of Herding Gods, as you get a close look at the incredible amount of detail put into so many elements in the Chinese donghua.

Details that, if they are not pointed out, you may just miss.

It has a deep collared cross-over brocade robe, with narrow sleeves and a color scheme echoing the attire of the Great Ruins.

The hem is sharply tailored, while the waist retains decorations in the style of the Heavenly Saint Cult. Exquisite beast face embroidery is added to the collar section.

The fabric is made of golden silk, offering great functionality, with an overall design that is carefree and stylish.

Now that’s a beautiful design, right?
