Ruri Rocks’ Youko Imari character trailer intros the university student who’s obsessed with old books and maps
Ongoing cute girls doing cute things anime Ruri Rocks (aka Introduction to Mineralogy) has introduced another new character in the just-dropped Youko Imari character trailer.
With the first two episodes of the anime concentrating on protagonist Ruri and her new mentor Nagi, we haven’t as yet met Youko but she, apparently, will be making her first appearance in the upcoming Episode 3.
Youko Imari’s character trailer showcases the upbeat fourth-year university student, who is obsessed with old books and maps, and introduces her voice actress — Yume Miyamoto who voiced the wonderful Haru in Sing “Yesterday” for Me.
She will first appear in Episode 3 of Ruri Rocks, which drops on Sunday.
Quick Ruri Rocks details
Ruri Rocks is being directed by Shingo Fujii (Onimai: I’m Now Your Sister!), with the ridiculously prolific Michiko Yokote (Call of the Night) whose huge number of anime I’m losing track of this season, providing the series composition, and Mayu Fujii both serving as Character Designer and Chief Animation Director.
Studio Bind (Mushoku Tensei) is animating that utterly gorgeous art style and animation.
Watch Youko Imari’s character video, and keep an eye out for her when Ruri Rocks, Episode 3 airs on Sunday.
