Scumbag System streaming on Crunchyroll for premium users – donghua free on WeTV

While the superb Chinese Boys’ Love donghua Scumbag System is currently streaming on WeTV, if you prefer to watch your animated series via Crunchyroll, you will be happy to know Scumbag System is now streaming on that platform as well.

All 10 episodes are available to watch from today but, unlike on WeTV where they are free-to-watch, Crunchyroll has them behind their paywall so only accessible by Premium members.

The Chinese donghua is adapted from the popular danmei novel series The Scum Villain’s Self-saving System written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and illustrated by Xiao Tong Kong.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the historical isekai series in English, with all four volumes of the 4-volume series now out.

They describe its plot like this:

Half-demon Luo Binghe rose from humble beginnings and a tortured past to become unrivaled in strength and beauty. With his dominion over both the Human and Demon Realms and his hundreds-strong harem, he is truly the most powerful protagonist…in a trashy webnovel series!

At least, that’s what Shen Yuan believes as he finishes reading the final chapter in Proud Immortal Demon Way.

The Scumbag System donghua (aka Chuan Shu Zijiu Zhinan) is animated by Chinese animation studio Djinn Power (The Rich God) and produced by Tencent, iQIYI and Sony Music Solutions.

The donghua also has a Japanese dub, although Crunchyroll is only streaming the original Chinese language version with English subtitles.
