It is the incredibly popular Sword Art Online anime franchise’s 10th anniversary later this year.
A franchise that is still going strong as shown with today’s highly-anticipated release of a Sword Art Online: Alicization visual and trailer. This time with a new War of the Underworld visual and promo.
War of the Underworld, of course, is technically Sword Art Online: Alicization 2, aka the third and fourth cours, and is the follow up to the first half of the Alicization story.
In the anime, Alice and Kirito are reunited, and together will attempt to save Underworld from the Dark Territory.
The second half of the anime series’ current season is set for release in October, 2019 with, so far, little information released about it.
Except that it will be a 12 episode season, and is being produced by A1 Pictures again.
You can, however, check out the new visual above, and the War of the Underworld trailer below for at least some scant details as to what we can expect.
Just remember to turn on the subtitles, so you will know what’s going on.
