Tencent celebrates Yue Yang’s 48th birthday with visuals from Zhu Yu and The Richest Poor Guy

Tencent Video wished the wonderful Chinese character actor Yue Yang a very happy birthday earlier today with the release of two visuals featuring characters from two of his many dramas.

The actor turns 48-years-old today, with Tencent dropping visuals from his upcoming dramas Zhu Yu and The Richest Poor Guy to celebrate.

Meanwhile, there has not been an official announcement from Tencent as to when Zhu Yu and The Richest Poor Guy are scheduled to premiere.

With Zhu Yu only ending filming in April though, and The Richest Poor Guy only wrapping up its filming back in March, it will be some time in 2026 before both series begins airing.

Meanwhile, Yue Yang is most recently known for his role as the wonderful uncle Xu Ping Zhi in Guardians of the Dafeng, as Jiang An Cheng in Si Jin, and for playing Shao Bing Yi in the recent family drama Northward.

The actor has many more dramas under his belt over the last two decades after getting his start in a supporting role in the war-themed drama Battlefield 1938 back in 2009.
