Episode 5 of the JTBC business-themed drama The Art of Negotiation aired last night in South Korea to its highest Saturday ratings yet.
Something that is another notch in the K-drama’s belt, and a likely indicator that its next episode tonight will grab the series’ highest rating of its run so far. (Update: And yes, it did).
Those higher ratings, according to Nielsen Korea, started off with a very solid 6.45 percent nationwide rating, compared to last Saturday’s already excellent 5.78 percent of the viewership.
The JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama then performed as well with audiences in Seoul, where it grabbed 6.39 percent of the audience compared to last Saturday’s 5.53 percent.
Like I said, a very good indicator we could see even higher ratings for the next episode of The Art of Negotiation tonight.
Especially as the smash hit of this season, Buried Hearts, does not air an episode tonight.
And, because The Art of Negotiation‘s stellar main cast — Lee Je Hoon, Kim Dae Myung, Sung Dong Il, Jang Hyun Sung, Oh Man Seok, Ahn Hyun Ho, and Cha Kang Yoon – and its director Ahn Pan Seok and writer Lee Seung Young have done such a fantastic job.
Tune in again tonight — on JTBC in South Korea, and internationally via streaming on Viki — for the superb K-drama’s next episode.
And yep, it is still earning a very high 9.6 out of 10 rating on Viki, so there’s also that.
