The Journey of Legend exceeds 4 million reservations – Cheng Yi, Li Kaixin C-drama could be a big hit!

You know a C-drama will be successful when it grabs millions of reservations on Tencent Video, and we still have no idea when it will premiere.

Case in point, the new wuxia drama The Journey of Legend, which has just exceeded 4 million reservations on Tencent Video with celebratory posters being released this week along with the message:

Though stars shift and eras change, our passion burns undimmed.
With steadfast hearts, we guard the martial world together.

Now join me in wishing that the darned thing gets a premiere date soon, as we have been waiting for this one for quite a while.

The Journey of Legend production details

The upcoming 40-episode Chinese drama stars Cheng Yi (Mysterious Lotus Casebook), Gülnezer Bextiyar (Got a Crush on You), Li Kaixin (Orange Soda), Xu Zhenxuan (Fangs of Fortune), Liu Mengrui (Mysterious Lotus Casebook), Ding Xiaoying (Guardians of the Dafeng), Edward Zhang (Youthful Glory), and Zhang Junning (Three-Body).

It is co-directed by Lin Feng (Sai Shang Feng Yun Ji) and Ren Haitao (Mysterious Lotus Casebook), and written by Liu Fang (Mysterious Lotus Casebook).

So, yep, as you will see from the so many people involved from Mysterious Lotus Casebook, including its writer and director, if you loved that drama as much as I did, this one is def a must watch.
