The hit Kdrama The Judge From Hell, Episode 7 aired last night to its highest Friday night ratings since it premiered.

According to Nielsen Korea, it was also the #1 show of any kind for all of Friday.

The nationwide ratings for The Judge From Hell, Episode 7 were also a very nice jump from its previous Friday high, grabbing 11.0 percent of the audience share compared to last week’s 9.3 percent.

The SBS drama performed even better with Seoul audiences, grabbing 11.1 percent of the viewership versus last week’s 9.2 percent.

With almost a 2.0 percent increase in both regions then, and as the Korean drama now heads into its second half tonight, it appears we will probably see even higher ratings for the rest of its 14-episode run.

And, if we do, they would be well-deserved too.

International ratings for The Judge From Hell

Viewers watching the drama overseas are also giving the Korean drama very high ratings.

Asian drama-focused website My Drama List is showing The Judge From Hell currently rated at a very high 8.6 out of 10 (anything above an 8.0 on that site is a very good rating, by the way).

Data via Flix Patrol also shows the Korean drama is still in the Top 5 most-watched shows on Disney+ in five Asian countries — Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and in its home country.

Comments too are positive across the board, with viewers on My Drama List leaving comments after Episode 7 aired like

Another amazing episode of an Amazing series! Truly an unexpected gem of a Kdrama!!

This show is hands down the best show this year. Queen of Tears, Marry My Husband and Love Next Door got sloppy real bad. The Judge From Hell and Black Out simply the TV shows of 2024 so far. No boring scene or filler episode.

And yep, I agree wholeheartedly on the last comment as, sure, I enjoyed Queen of Tears, Marry My Husband and Love Next Door like the rest of you, but the writing on both The Judge From Hell and Black Out has annihilated the writing on the previous three so far.

The Judge From Hell stars the cool duo of Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young.

Episode 8 hits Korean airwaves and international streaming tonight.
