The Matchmakers Ep 11 gets big ratings jump – earns all-time high audience in Seoul

With just five more episodes of the Korean drama The Matchmakers left to air, The Matchmakers, Episode 11 aired on KBS2 last night to a big ratings jump and an all-time high rating in Seoul.

New numbers from Nielsen Korea show The Matchmakers, Episode 11 grabbing 4.3 percent of the nationwide audience share, which is an almost 1.0 percent increase from Episode 10’s 3.4 percent.

Audiences in Seoul gave the Korean romantic comedy drama an even more successful episode last night, as they caused The Matchmakers, Episode 11 to grab 4.2 percent of the audience, which is back to the all-time high rating it earned for Episode 1.

Meanwhile on Viki after Episode 11 aired, the Korean historical drama is still being rated a 9.4 out of 10, with almost 2,000 viewers rating the K-drama since it began airing on October 30th.

When does The Matchmakers final episode air?

The Matchmakers stars current Korean heartthrob Rowoon alongside Cho Yi Hyun as the “matchmakers” in the lead roles.

They are backed up by the superb cast of Kim Hyun Mok, Kim Geon Ho, Kim Yeon Woo, Lee Sang Gu, Heo Nam Jun, Bang Eun Jeong, Park Ji Young, Lee Hae Young and Lee Soon Won.

The historical romantic comedy airs on KBS2 every Monday and Tuesday evening at 21:45 (KST) through December 25th (I will be celebrating part of my Christmas Day with Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun for that long-awaited finale, how about you?).

Viki airs each new episode of The Matchmakers for international viewers a few minutes after it begins airing in South Korea.

The next episode of the drama will air on Monday, December 11th, 2023.
