The Matchmakers Ep 15 still at all-time high as drama heads into final episode

The South Korean drama The Matchmakers, Episode 15 aired last night to the same all-time high rating it earned for Episode 14.

That rating was, again, a strong 5.0 percent of the audience share, and put the drama as the 10th most-watched TV show of the day in South Korea.

In other words, as the historical K-drama heads into its final episode on Christmas Day, and with fans desperate to know how it ends, it is highly likely The Matchmakers its highest ever rating is yet to come.

Meanwhile, international fans are still raving about the Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun-led drama, with its ranking on Viki, where it is streaming for international viewers, never having dropped below 9.3 out of 10 since its first episode aired.

After Episode 15, and with almost 2,500 users rating the drama on the streaming platform, The Matchmakers is still earning a 9.4 out of 10.

Not surprisingly really, of course, as the Korean drama is well-written and with a unique premise, is beautifully acted, with gorgeous cinematography, costuming and sets, and with characters that tend to stick with you long after an episode has ended.

The final episode of The Matchmakers will air on Christmas Day (December 25th) at 21:45 (KST), with Viki streaming it around the same time.

My bet is the drama will hit its highest rating then as people tune in to see how it ends.
