The Queen Who Crowns, Ep 2 earns even higher ratings

Thrilled to see the new Korean drama The Queen Who Crowns earning even higher ratings for its second episode on Tuesday night, after premiering on Monday night with a very strong audience share.



The tvN/TVING historical drama aired last night to nationwide ratings that were almost 1.0 percentage point higher than that for Episode 1 — jumping from Episode 1’s viewership of 4.87 percent to last night’s 5.49 percent.

Meanwhile, The Queen Who Crowns, Episode 2 viewership in Seoul didn’t increase quite as much — moving from 5.13 percent for Episode 1 to 5.32 percent for Episode 2 — but it was still an increase nevertheless.

International ratings for The Queen Who Crowns via Viki where it is streaming in some regions are also extremely high, with a current average of 9.7 out of 10.

The K-drama stars Cha Joo Young, Lee Hyun Wook, Lee Yi Dam and Lee Shi Ah.

It streams/airs on TVING and tvN in South Korea every Monday and Tuesday night, with its planned 12 episodes scheduled to run through February 11th.

Viki streams it internationally with subtitles in English, French, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian and Spanish.
