The just ended Korean drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 12 ended the hit romance drama last night when it aired on MBC TV and Wavve in South Korea and on Viki for international viewers.
The rating for the episode also means the drama went out on a high, with Episode 12 grabbing 9.3 percent of the audience share.
That was a big increase from its previous episode’s 8.0 percent, and also meant The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract was the third most-watched show on Korean TV on Saturday.
In addition, the 9.3 percent share of the audience helped give the Korean drama a very strong average rating per episode of 7.6 percent during its run.
As for its rating in Seoul, that was an equally high 9.3 percent, and an even bigger jump from the previous episode’s 7.8 percent rating in the region.
International viewers rated The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract high right to its end
International audiences also rated the MBC drama with enormously high ratings right from its first episode to its last.
After Episode 12 aired last night, the drama is still being rated a high 8.5 out of 10 on My Drama List (very high for users of the site), and a crazy high 9.6 out of 10 on Viki where it is available for international viewers.
The drama also performed well at the recent MBC Drama Awards, with Lee Se Young, Baek In Hyuk, Joo Hyun Young and Chun Ho Jin all being given awards for their performances.
Lee Se Young and Baek In Hyuk were also one of four couples nominated for the Best Couple award (won by Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin for My Dearest).
The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract stars Lee Se Young and Baek In Hyuk, with all 12 episodes now available to stream on Viki.
