The Water Magician production information

The fantasy action adventure is adapted from the light novel series of the same name, written by Tadashi Kubou and illustrated by Hana Amano, Nokito and Mebaru.

The anime is directed by Hideyuki Satake (episode director for Delicious in Dungeon), with Jun Kumagai (Teppen—!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) providing the series composition and the scripts for Episodes 1 and 2, and Haruka Otsuzumi designing the characters.

Animation is being created by both Typhoon Graphics (Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke’s Mansion) and WonderLand.

Watch The Water Magician in its original Japanese version now, and in its English dub, when the first episode of that drops tomorrow on Crunchyroll.

You can also check out the short clip from Episode 1 of the anime as Ryo learns how to use his water magic so he doesn’t get killed, so you can see what to expect.

And, no, so far at least The Water Magician anime is nothing particularly unique, but its first two episodes have been entertaining.
