The production committee for the upcoming donghua To Be Hero X has just released a very cute character concept video for Loli, one of the anime’s supporting characters and the sixth-ranked hero.
To Be Hero X‘s Loli character concept video, which is decidedly pink in nature, also features that episode’s OP — ‘Candy Mountain‘ by Shuhei Mutsuki.
The super power-themed donghua, titled Tu Bian Yingxiong X or (凸变英雄X ) in China, is the sequel to Tu Bian Ying Xiong Leaf and is currently scheduled to premiere some time in 2025.
The Chinese property is a new co-production between bilibili and Aniplex, although it is almost completely animated in China.
Chinese animation studios Pb Animation Co (The Daily Life of the Immortal King), LAN Studio (Link Click) and Paper Plane Animation Studio (Liang Bu Yi) are in charge of the donghua’s main animation.
Haoling Li (Tian Guan Cifu) is directing the donghua.
The plot of To Be Hero X
According to bilibili, the plot of To Be Hero X goes something like this:
This is a world created by people’s trust, and the hero who gets the most trust is hailed as ——X.
In this world, people’s trust can be counted by data, and those values will be reflected on everyone’s wrist. As long as enough trust value is obtained, ordinary people can also have superpowers and become superheroes to save the world.
