Another video in the series of teaser trailers being released for the upcoming donghua To Be Hero X is now out via its official X account. And this time it’s Dragon Boy’s character video.
Dragon Boy, aka Ryoryu, is the third ranked hero in the donghua, with his character video little more than a tiny glimpse into his world while quickly showing off his graffiti skills.
It also features Dragon Boy’s episode theme song — ‘Scar‘ performed by producer and instrumental performer DAIKI (AWSM).
Yep, each character gets a different theme song. And they are all bangin’. Cool, eh?
Like most of the other main characters in To Be Hero X, Dragon Boy is voiced by one of the industry’s top voice actors.
In this case, Kouki Uchiyama who also voices Lancelot in The Seven Deadly Sins among a slew of other anime main characters.
When does To Be Hero X premiere?
A specific date for the super hero-themed To Be Hero X donghua has not yet been announced, but we do know it is a 2025 release, and that Crunchyroll will be streaming it internationally when it does.
The animated series is a new project that is being produced by Bilibili and Aniplex, and animated by Pb. Animation Company (The Daily Life of the Immortal King) in collaboration with LAN Studio (A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized) and Paper Plane Animation (No Doubt In Us).
It is a follow on from the previous two donghua in the franchise — To Be Hero and To Be Heroine — both of which were very well-received by fans.
