This time it’s Rina Godai’s character video.

And, as you will have likely seen from the anime’s main trailers, out of all the girls in her high school club, Rina is the girl who takes bowling the most seriously, while also berating her fellow bowling club members for “not wanting to win”.

In Rina Godai’s character trailer, though, it is also obvious that, while she is commenting that she doesn’t like bowling club leader Mai Otonashi, she really just wants to be accepted by all the girls and find a place where she belongs.

Her seriousness, of course, will get in the way of that.

As the Pony Canyon YouTube channel explains about Rina:

A first-year high school student who transferred in the spring and is the only junior member of the bowling club.

Passionate about bowling, she sometimes comes across as harsh toward the club captain, Mai. However, deep down, she respects Mai’s skills more than anyone else.

Kana Ichinose (Fern in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) voices Rina.

Production details for Turkey!

Turkey! is being directed by Susumu Kudou (The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses), with Naomi Hiruta writing scripts, and Airi Takekawa (Mou Ippon!) both chief animation director and designing the characters.

Pony Canyon (The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei) is in charge of animation.

The Turkey! anime series premieres in Japan on July 8th, 2025.
