Twelve Letters hits 21000 on heat index – international viewers also awarding high ratings
The just-ended Chinese mini drama Twelve Letters has completed its 12-episode run with a 21000 on Tencent Video’s heat index in China.
Starring Zhou Yi Ran and Wang Ying Lu, the mystery thriller premiered the first of its 12 episodes on August 29th, and released its final episodes on September 1st.
Internationally, the Chinese drama has had quite a muted reception, with under 5,000 people on My Drama List saying they are watching/have watched it, which is a low number for even a C-drama.
That being said, it has received excellent ratings, with 405 users currently rating the C-drama a solid 8.2 out of 10, with their only complaints being that the final four episodes felt rushed while a longer drama would probably have solved that.
Meanwhile, only 21 people using IMDB have marked that they are watching Twelve Letters, but they are awarding the drama a very high average of 9.1 out of 10.
Twelve Letters has earned 7.7 on Douban for its opening score, and here’s why that is so good!
Tencent Video announced the news that Twelve Letters had earned 21000 on the heat index with an upbeat poster featuring the two leads, and the comment:
#Twelve Letters Surpasses 21,000 in Popularity on Tencent#
