Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille adds new cast Iori Saeki, Mayumi Shintani and Kaori Nazuka – drops character designs

Three new cast members have been added to the music-themed anime series Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille (akaHarmony of Mille-Feuille), which premieres on July 13th.

And they’re not just any old voice actors as, in the grand scheme of things, all three are some of the most experienced voice actors in the VA world right now.

They are:

• Iori Saeki (Vanilla in Nekopara) who voices Sayaka Iguchi
• Mayumi Shintani (Yukari in A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof) who is playing Uta’s mother
• Kaori Nazuka (Miyu in Fate/kaleid Liner Prisma) is voicing Musubu’s mother

Utagoe ha Mille-Feuille production details

The upcoming Utagoe ha Mille-Feuille is an original a cappella-themed anime created by Pony Canyon x Takuya Yamanaka (creator of MILGRAM).

Takuya Yamanaka is also in charge of series composition and scripts.

It is being chief-directed by Takuya Satou (Otherside Picnic), with Kiyoto Nakajima (Episode director of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World) directing, and Chisato Kikunaga (I Shall Survive Using Potions!) and Hitomi Kaiho (Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I’m Not the Demon Lord) designing the anime’s characters.

Studio Jumondou (Yuru Yuri) is animating.
