The next in a long line of Chinese New Year greetings from hit donghua series (Chinese anime) is from the smash hit series A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality (aka Fanren Xiu Xian Chuan).
This time via the donghua’s animation studio Wonder Cat Animation’s official Weibo account.
As you might expect, the beautifully vibrant Chinese Spring Festival visual features protagonist Han Li against a background of fireworks.
Along with the visual, Wonder Cat also commented:
Fireworks fill the sky, the night turns to dawn, and the end of the year brings joyous songs in anticipation of the new day.
Tonight, the silver flowers and trees of fire are not the magic of immortals, but the human touch of fireworks, most soothing to the mortal heart.
Wonder Cat sincerely wishes all fellow cultivators a happy New Year’s Eve! May you have peace and prosperity in the coming year, with blessings that last a long time.
