While millions of us are crazy about the Chinese donghua Heaven Official’s Blessing (aka Tian Guan Cifu), which has become a cult classic over the last few years, you may be surprised to realize most fans don’t even think about the voice actor who voiced Xie Lian, one of the two popular protagonists.
(I’ll get to San Lang (aka Hua Cheng) in another article, don’t worry).
If you are one of those who has just decided to look into who voices Xie Lian so beautifully in the Heaven Official’s Blessing donghua as, come on, a different actor may have ended up creating a completely different character, here then is everything you need to know about him.
Or, in this case, them.
And, sorry, this is only about the Chinese voice actors playing Xie Lian as I am not an English dub viewer.
Who voices Xie Lian, the Prince of Xianle, in Tian Guan Cifu?
Interestingly as Heaven Official’s Blessing currently has two seasons, it was not the same Chinese voice actor who voiced Xie Lian in both seasons.
If you have hearing that is well-attuned to different voice timbres, you should have easily been able to pick that up almost as soon as Season 2 began as Xie Lian’s voice in Season 1 is softer (and, I think, sweeter) than during Season 2.
So, who are the two voice actors?

In Heaven Official’s Blessing, Season 1, Xie Lian was voiced by the massively successful and incredibly busy actor Jiang Guangtao (aka 姜广涛), while in Season 2, the equally talented Deng Youxi (邓宥希) took over the part. And yes, both actors did a superb job.
