World of Immortals Ep 16 screenshots – Yan Qingcheng attacks Xiao Chen

The Chinese anime World of Immortals, Episode 16 is now out and, as a nice heads up, animation studio Qingxiang Culture has released some beautiful stills from the donghua’s latest episode via their Weibo account.

Those nine stills feature protagonist Xiao Chen being, yet again, attacked by Yan Qingcheng and her cronies.

We also see Xiao Chen along with his friends The Three Kings and the adorable Keke trying to obtain another dragon egg so he can cultivate further and become even stronger.

The final still appears to show him succeeding (bottom).

The new stills also came along with a short message from the studio, saying:

World of Immortals (aka Chang Sheng Jie) details

The donghua (Chinese anime) itself is currently scheduled to run for 26 episodes for its first season, so should end its run on April 8th, 2025.

It is based on the Chen Dong novel of the same name, and animated by the relatively new animation studio Qingxiang Culture (Apotheosis), with production by Tencent Penguin Pictures.
