Ongoing Chinese donghua World of Immortals (aka Chang Sheng Jie) has released new stills from its just-premiered Episode 9.
Those stills came out via Qingxiang Culture’s official Weibo account, and feature protagonist Xiao Chen, that annoying princess Zhao Lin’er who Xiao Chan needs to kill pronto, Yan Qingcheng and others.
The cutest addition to the characters in World of Immortals featured in the Episode 9 stills, however, is Keke.
Keke is a white, fluffy, big-eared fox (?) who appeared in Episode 8 and saved Xiao Chen from drowning after he was ambushed by Zhao Lin’er and her disgusting group of cohorts.
He eventually comes to be named “Keke” as the only thing he seems to be able to say is “Keke”.
Along with the release of the World of Immortals, Episode 9 stills, Qingxiang Culture commented:
Episode 9 is now airing.
Hunted by a horde of enemies, Xiao Chen makes his desperate last stand! Rescued by a divine beast, the cute pet Keke now makes an appearance!
