Chinese donghua World of Immortals, Episode 23 has now been moved to VIP status on WeTV, after it was released last week but only available to be watched by those die-hard fans who would be willing to pay extra to watch the last four episodes early.
Hint: I’m not one of them.
Along with that new release for VIP subscribers to the platform, animation studio Qingxiang Culture has also uploaded nine World of Immortals, Episode 23 stills to their Weibo account.
The Chinese anime’s latest stills feature the Devil himself. A mysterious being who Xiao Chen is forced to leave with so he can save everyone on the island, and then suddenly finds himself defending when he is under attack.
We also see a couple of shots of Lan Nuo, one featuring Yan Qingcheng, who has now been thoroughly cowed by Xiao Chen and his allies, and a couple of stills of the newly awakened Undying King (aka The Immortal King).
And yep, he’s pretty freakin’ powerful.

World of Immortals, Episode 23 is now streaming on WeTV, with Episodes 24 through 26 still locked behind their “Express payment” plan for another one to three weeks.
Yeah, I love what WeTV (ake Tencent) produces, but the money-grubbing is a tad annoying. Especially towards people who have already paid for a VIP subscription.
