YOUKU continues to promote Destiny Brings the Demon with more poster drops
While we do often complain about Chinese streaming platforms not promoting their dramas particularly well, you can’t say the same for YOUKU’s promotion of Destiny Brings the Demon — their latest fantasy drama, which dropped last week.
New posters are being dropped on YOUKU’s Weibo account every few hours, as the Chinese drama continues to climb their heat index, while many new videos are also being uploaded daily, and offline events in China featuring the leads and supporting actors are taking place.
The latest Destiny Brings the Demon poster dropped just a couple of hours ago, right after another one for the drama reaching 9000 on the heat index (see below), and others as it moved from 6500 on the index upwards.
This time, it features main leads Arthur Chen and Wang Ying Lu, with secondary couple Wang Yi Ting and Gao Han in the background.
In other words, while you can definitely complain when Chinese streaming platforms drop the ball promoting your favorite C-drama, you can’t complain here as YOUKU has done a superb job so far.
And one that is paying off as Destiny Brings the Demon continues to soar in viewership, both in China and internationally.
