PLOT

Amidst the wind and snow, butcher’s daughter Fan Zhang Yu (played by Tian Xi Wei) and the fallen marquis Xie Zheng (played by Zhang Ling He) are brought together by fate.

One, having lost both parents, strives to become the head of her household; the other, living under an assumed name, seeks vengeance for a bloody massacre seventeen years ago. Bound by their respective agendas, the two stage a marriage of convenience, only to find genuine love blossoming between them.

Yet, this very love leads to a brutal war, tearing the lovers apart. Armed with her butcher’s knife, Fan Zhang Yu takes to the battlefield in search of her family, her husband, and justice.

Xie Zheng, reclaiming his identity as the iron-willed marquis, fights to protect his country, his love, and the truth.
