100,000 Years of Qi Refining, Episode 182 recap – Xu Yang is taking over all of the Nine Realms?

In the last episode of the donghua 100,000 Years of Qi Refining, Xu Yang and Manying had returned from The Great Flower God Tomb, and Xu Yang then headed to the Baishen Immortal Region where he killed the fake “White God”.

At the end of the episode, we left Xu Yang flying away from the region in his space ship and heading off to find another god to kill.

Let’s get started then with our 100,000 Years of Qi Refining, Episode 182 recap, so we can see what happens next.

100,000 Years of Qi Refining, Episode 182 recap — Xu Yang is destroying all the gods?

The episode begins with two men walking on a main street in an area of the Nine Realms and gossiping about Xu Yang.

According to one of them, Xu Yang’s goal is to destroy all of the sects belonging to the gods, kill the gods and then take over the Nine Realms himself.

Other people hear the gossip and rush off to tell their masters, which is how word gets around each of the realms quickly that Xu Yang is heading their way to destroy them.

Next, we see Xu Yang himself arriving at several different Immortal Regions in his space ship, the people below him panicking and running as they think he is there to destroy them, and then Xu Yang flying away without even landing as “this realm isn’t what I need”.

At the third realm — the Changming Immortal Region Forest — Xu Yang finally descends from his space ship and, upon arriving on the ground, comments that this realm is a place that destroys the spiritual energy of cultivators.

We then see several people called “God Blasphemers” who seem to be slaves picking grass to use in cultivation. Each person’s hand is stained, and they are talking about “slowly dying” due to the poison from the grass that is entering their bodies.

All three men then hear an enormous noise coming from the direction Xu Yang has landed in, and run off to see what is happening. When they discover Xu Yang, they believe he is “God’s Envoy” and welcome him.

Xu Yang hears the word “God”, and asks if there is a God there?

But, when the men realize he isn’t God’s Envoy, they ask him to leave, as this place is where people from the Shenguang Sect are exiled, and nobody can survive there for very long.

One of them also gives him the Zonghli grass they have been picking, as they say it increases the ability to cultivate for enlightenment and believe it may help him leave the realm.

Xu Yang takes the grass, and begins to manipulate it in mid-air with his power.

But his power attracts another man who suddenly appears in a shaft of light. The three men call the fourth man “God’s Envoy”, and tell him that Xu Yan “arrived in the realm by accident, and is now leaving”.

After accusing the men of being lazy and slamming one against a tree, the God’s Envoy approaches Xu Yang, notices his power and asks him to join the Shenguang Sect.

Of course, Xu Yang replies that he’s not interested.

When the man continues to insist he join, as you might expect, Xu Yang… kills him.

He then turns the grass into three pills, which he gives the men and tells them it will cure them of the poison.

The pills are automatically absorbed into the men’s bodies, they are immediately cured and their cultivation rises. In response, they promise they will serve Xu Yang in whatever capacity he wishes.

The episode ends as Xu Yang proves the gossips at the beginning of the episode right, when he replies “I want the entire Immortal Region”.

The donghua is animated by Chinese animation studio Suoyi Technology, and appears exclusively on Tencent Video’s streaming platform.
