The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses visual and trailer show a gorgeous Kaede Komura who’s a bit of a flirt

The upcoming The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses anime got a trailer and a key visual today, both of which make this rom-com look charming.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses key visual features heroine Kaede Komura, the girl who sits next to protagonist Ai Mie.

A girl with long, flowing auburn hair and big eyes. Eyes that are sometimes hidden behind glasses. When she remembers to bring them to school, that is.

The rest of the time Kaede squints at the board, falls over things, doesn’t recognize people, can’t see the ball when playing sports and, in other words, is a full-time job for Ai to take care of so she doesn’t get hurt.

The new The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses trailer also shows a quite flirty Kaede. Something Ai, who can be quite shy, struggles to handle.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses anime is being directed by Katsumasa Yokomine (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today), with chief direction from Susumu Kudou (Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club).

Tamazo Yanagi (Scar on the Praeter) is in charge of scripts, with Takayuki Uchida (W’z) as character designer.

Studio GoHands is in charge of animation production.

The anime is based on the manga by the same name (known as Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta in Japan) by Koume Fujichika.

Square Enix is publishing the manga in English. with the first two volumes already out, and The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, Volume 3 out in two days.

Watch the just released and very cute The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses trailer and, is it just me, or do you want your hair to look like that too?
