The Judge from Hell Ep 5 earns highest Friday rating yet – #2 most-watched show of the day

The SBS drama The Judge from Hell, Episode 5 aired last night to its highest ever Friday rating, as well as was the #2 most-watched show of the day behind the popular KBS1 weekday drama Su Ji & U Ri.

According to the data for October 4th via Nielsen Korea, The Judge from Hell, Episode 5 earned a 9.3 percent nationwide rating, which is quite a bit higher than the 8.0 percent it earned for its previous Friday’s episode (Episode 3).



Audiences in Seoul were similarly happy to watch the Korean drama in higher numbers, as The Judge from Hell earned an only slightly lower 9.2 percent of the audience share in that region, which was also much higher than its previous Friday’s rating of 8.5 percent.

With Saturday evening usually being the night the SBS drama grabs its highest ratings, it is also likely we will see another all-time high later on tonight.

International ratings for The Judge from Hell after Episode 5

Viewers outside South Korea are reviewing the Korean drama highly, with users over at My Drama List currently awarding The Judge from Hell a very high 8.6 out of 10.

The drama is also performing well on Disney + in some of the Asian countries it is airing in, as it is currently in the Disney Top 5 in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, and at #7 in Japan.

In South Korea, it is the #2 most-watched show on Wavve this week.

The Judge from Hell stars Park Shin Hye (Doctor Slump) and Kim Jae Young (Love in Contract).

The Kdrama’s next episode will air on SBS in Korea later on tonight, with Hulu streaming the series in the west.
