BEASTARS Final Season, Part 1 trailer released – Melon is finally here!!!

Netflix is gearing up to begin streaming the final season of the anthropomorphic anime BEASTARS with a new trailer released today along with a premiere date of December 5th. (watch below)

That BEASTARS Final Season, Part 1 trailer came via the Netflix official X account and shows Legoshi and Haru just trying to make the world right for themselves and everyone else in it, and and Louis, well, being Louis.

Meanwhile a terrible criminal is on the loose and the devouring incidents are ramping up.

The new BEASTARS Final Season, Part 1 trailer also gives us a quick look at several new characters and, yep, half-breed Melon is finally here and I am freaking down for it! (Manga fans will know crazy Melon from the Revenge of the Love Failure arc — Ooh, you are in for a treat, anime viewers, as it’s a good one!).

Finally, if you enjoy a good anime theme song, listen to a snippet of ‘Feel Like This‘ by YU-KA in the trailer as the BEASTARS ending theme. Not bad, eh?

New BEASTARS Final Season cast members

Along with the trailer, Netflix also named five new voice actors to the BEASTARS cast:

They are:

  • Kouji Okino (Thalim in Shaman King) as Melon
  • Shigeru Chiba (Buggy in One Piece) as Gosha
  • Shinichiro Miki (Kisuke in Bleach) as Yahya
  • Tesshou Genda (Reinhard in The Ossan Newbie Adventurer) as Sagwan
  • Fumiko Orikasa (Rukia in Bleach) as Seven

The BEASTARS anime is based on the massively successful manga written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki.

That now-completed manga series has 22 volumes out in Japanese, with Viz Media also publishing all 22 in English. So, if you want to get ahead of the final season of the anime, you can do that now.

BEASTARS Final Season staff

As for the anime staff, Shinichi Matsumi is back to direct the Final Season, with Nanami Higuchi also back in charge of scripts and series composition, and Nao Ootsu again designing those amazing characters.

Studio Orange, the superb animators of both previous seasons, are also animating the anime’s final one. Yay!

No information has yet been released on the total number of episodes we can expect for BEASTARS Final Season, or when Part 2 will premiere.

We’ll keep you updated here on Leo Sigh as that information comes out.

Meanwhile, enjoy the just-released BEASTARS Final Season, Part 1 trailer. Because doesn’t that look delicious!!!
