Why will The Tale of Lady Ok not air on Saturday, December 14th? When will it?

As the political turmoil in South Korea continues, several TV show postponements have been announced for tomorrow — December 14th, 2024 — all due to an upcoming second motion to impeach the current president Yoon Suk Yeol, which will be held on Saturday.
One of the shows postponed is The Tale of Lady Ok, Episode 4 which will be postponed until the following day, Sunday, when it will then air at its regular time of 22:30 (KST).
Sadly for viewers of the ongoing JTBC historical drama, it will be the second weekend in a row that only one episode will release, as Episode 3 was postponed last weekend from Saturday to Sunday as well.
And, again, due to the same political situation.
The Tale of Lady Ok series finale also pushed forward?
This second postponement now means that, although by tomorrow The Tale of Lady Ok should have aired its sixth episode if it had been kept on its planned schedule it will, instead, only have aired Episode 4.
That also pushes the date of the Korean drama’s final episode from January 25th to February 1st. And that’s only if no other postponements are forthcoming in the meantime.
Unless, of course, JTBC is able to add additional episodes of the K-drama to its schedule before then. Fingers crossed.
Marry YOU also postponed
In good news, though, along with Channel A’s Marry YOU, The Tale of Lady Ok is one of only two K-dramas that have had a postponement announced for tomorrow, with all other dramas airing as scheduled.
Thanks, JTBC!
The Tale of Lady Ok stars Im Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Yeonwoo and Kim Jae Won.
It is a Korean drama that, despite its postponement last weekend, just earned its highest ever rating for Episode 3.
