One of the upcoming Summer, 2025 anime series that hasn’t gotten a lot of attention until now is Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze.

An anime that, frankly, I have heard hardly anything about since it was announced way back when. And I scour anime news hourly.

Today, though, we got a cute and quite long Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze trailer that does a brilliant job introducing the anime’s main characters, as well as a new key visual of the three Mikadono Sisters — Miwa, Nico and Kazuki.

The key visual features Miwa, Nico and Kazuki walking home after school, while their new ‘family member’ Yu Ayase runs behind them trying to catch up.

Along with releasing the anime’s latest key visual, its official X account also commented:

The three Mikado sisters are surprisingly easy to fool.

Meanwhile, the trailer lets us look at the moment Yu joins the Mikadono family, and the not-so-nice way the girls treat him.

But, as soon as they realize he is an amazing cook, and great at housework as well, their attitude towards him changes.

Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze production details

The comedy romance anime series is adapted from the manga series Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi, written and illustrated by Aya Hirakawa.

It is being directed by Tadahito Matsubayashi (Tokyo Ghoul: Pinto), with Takayo Ikami (The Most Notorious “Talker” Runs the World’s Greatest Clan) in charge of series composition, and with Yuusuke Inoue (episode Animation Director of Skip and Loafer) designing the characters.

P.A. Works (Shirobako) is animating the series.

The anime’s plot also looks incredibly fun, as the first volume of its manga explains:

Three Genius Sisters Under One Roof.

A life that begins to change the three prodigy sisters…
A heartwarming rom-com kicks off!!

High schooler Yu, who’s a bit of a klutz, ends up living with the solitary genius trio. You’d think an ordinary guy like him would be at their mercy — but surprisingly… these sisters might be easier to handle than expected?

As their lives intertwine, the sisters’ emotions begin to shift. The brilliant, beautiful trio finds themselves flustered, bewildered… and even heart-racing.

A tale of love and family where genius and mediocrity collide — all under one roof.

Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze premieres in Japan on July 10th, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime internationally soon after.

Look out for it!
