New ‘Tomb of Fallen Gods’ Season 3 poster drops with a Summer, 2025 premiere

A new poster has just dropped for the Chinese donghua Tomb of Fallen Gods, Season 3, which is due to premiere this summer.

The new Tomb of Fallen Gods poster was released via the donghua’s official Weibo account earlier in the week, along with the comment:

“Produced by Wonder Cat Animation, the annual series #Tomb of Fallen Gods# makes its epic return this summer!

🔥 ‘With my demonic blood, I shall stain the heavens!’ 

Chen Nan’s热血 (fiery passion) reignites! The new season is massively upgraded with a refreshed annual series production!

It follows on from Season 2 of the Tomb of Fallen Gods (aka Shen Mu) donghua, which ended its 27-episode run in February, 2024.

So, yep, it has been over a year since we left Chen Nan finally defeating that pain in the ass demon.

But then, the happy ending we expected turned out to be heading towards far more going on than we guessed.

As, now, Chen Nan has been able to read the Scripture of Heavenly Essence, and there’s likely a secret to be revealed.

The historical martial arts donghua is, again, being animated by Wonder Cat Animation (who also animated Everything is Fine with the Emperor). and will again stream via YOUKU in China.

Outside China, though, it will likely be just as much of a pain in the rear to find it on a legal streaming service than its previous seasons in most regions.

So there’s that.
