See You Tomorrow at the Food Court’s Yamamoto character video intros a girl who looks scary but is actually really sweet
Yesterday we got a character trailer for anime See You Tomorrow at the Food Court‘s Wada and, today, it’s the turn of her co-protagonist, gyaru and high school student who makes her classmates feel fear, Yamamoto.
Yamamoto is voiced by Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori in BOCCHI THE ROCK!) and, from her character video, is a girl who is so obsessed with one particular YouTuber, that’s almost her entire topic of conversation.
Especially when the object of her affection is getting harassed online again, as she does not like that.
Her character trailer was released via the See You Tomorrow at the Food Court X account, along with the comment:
“Got bashed on the internet again, huh?”
Along with her YouTube obsession, however, she does seem to have a soft spot for her friend, Wada, as we see her gently patting her head.
So sure, with her gyaru looks she might look scary, but it appears Yamamoto probably has a heart of gold.
See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime details
The upcoming cute girls doing cute things anime is adapted from the manga written and illustrated by Shinichirou Nariie (Absolute Duo), and comprises just six episodes.
The anime adaptation is being directed by Kazuomi Koga (Ganbare Douki-chan), with Jukki Hanada (The Dangers in My Heart) providing series composition, and Kyuuta Sakai (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) both the anime’s character designer and chief animation director.
Atelier Pontdarc (No Longer Allowed in Another World) is the animation studio handling the project.
See You Tomorrow at the Food Court stands out for its adorable art style, its cute girls, its excellent voice acting from two relative unknowns as the protagonists, and its laid-back, comfy atmosphere.
With only six episodes airing too, it doesn’t require a huge time commitment so, if you’re looking for an anime that has interesting characters and will pass a few hours of your time, See You Tomorrow at the Food Court should be at the top of your Summer, 2025 anime list.
