PLOT

On the Lantern Festival, Princess Ning Yuan meets a mysterious death during the night banquet. Li Pei Yi (played by Bai Lu) from the Internal Reception Bureau and Xiao Huai Jin (Wang Xing Yue), the Deputy Director of the Imperial Astrology Bureau, are ordered to investigate.

Li Pei Yi possesses exceptional martial skills and a keen insight into human nature. She maintains a cold exterior but a kind heart, relentlessly pursuing the truth. For her, solving the case is not merely about uncovering facts but also an intellectual battle and contest with the killer.
