Would You Marry Me, Ep 1 kicks off K-drama with solid ratings and #1 spot

It appears SBS may just have another hit on their hands after their latest Friday/Saturday drama Would You Marry Me, Episode 1 kicked off last night to very solid ratings, and to a #1 spot in its time slot across every TV channel.

According to Nielsen Korea, Would You Marry Me, Episode 1 earned 5.6 percent of the nationwide audience on Friday night, and 6.1 percent of the viewership in Seoul.

Both ratings are an excellent base to build on, with comments on social media and in online forums extremely positive, and with several users saying they feel like Would You Marry Me is giving off old-style Kdrama vibes.

The K-drama’s performances, plot and humor that’s actually funny all add up to what could be yet another SBS hit. Fingers crossed.

You also know the Korean drama is well done as, even over on My Drama List, which is notorious for its army of trolls downrating almost every new drama, Would You Marry Me is currently earning a very good (for that site) 8.1 out of 10.

Would You Marry Me production details
