The incredibly talented South Korean actress Ahn Eun Jin is fresh off the set of the hit K-drama My Dearest and, if she is being treated the way she deserves, should be being inundated with new scripts right about now.
According to Korean news media, one of the scripts Ahn Eun Jin did recently receive is for the upcoming drama Everything Will Come True.
A still-in-the-planning-stages 12-episode Korean drama that has already had Bae Suzy and Kim Woo Bin confirmed as cast in the main lead roles.
However, after Korean media reported Ahn Eun Jin was also joining the cast of Everything Will Come True, UAA, the actress’s agency, announced she had received scripts for the drama but that no decision has yet been made as to whether she will accept the offer.
What is Everything Will Come True?
The drama is being written by Kim Eun Sook, writer of The Glory series, Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, Descendants of the Sun and The King: Eternal Monarch, just to name a few.
She is one of a handful of prolific Korean screenwriters who has not only had much of her work picked up for production, but who has also been responsible for some very big hits.
From the sounds of the plot of Everything Will Come True, she may just have a future hit on her hands as well.
According to News 1, that plot follows an over-emotional Genie (played by Kim Woo Bin) and an under-emotional woman Ga Young (Bae Suzy).
It is a stress-free romantic comedy that follows the Genie as he grants three wishes to Ga Young, with the pair becoming embroiled in a situation that suddenly means they are responsible for each other’s lives and deaths.
Should Ahn Eun Jin accept a role in Everything Will Come True, she will reportedly be playing the character of Mi Ju, Ga Young’s roommate and someone who has a mystery of her own.
Ahn Eun Jin’s other past performances include mainly main roles — roles like Yoo Gil Chae in the aforementioned My Dearest, Lee Mi Joo in The Good Bad Mother, Pyo In Sook in The One and Only, and Kim Young Hee in More Than Friends.
Should the Korean actress accept the Everything Will Come True role, it will be her first role in a drama confirmed to air in 2024.
