Buried Hearts, Episode 8 doubles ratings it earned for Episode 1
Heading into its second half, ongoing revenge drama Buried Hearts, Episode 8 aired on Saturday night to its best ratings yet, as it continues to grab higher and higher viewership with each new episode.
So well has the Korean drama being performing, last night Buried Hearts, Episode 8 earned double the nationwide rating of its first episode — 12.3 percent versus the 6.1 percent for Episode 1.
It also performed as well with viewers in Seoul, where the K-drama earned 12.3 percent versus Episode 1’s rating of 6.0 percent.
The SBS drama was the second most-watched TV show of the day on Saturday, behind the weekend drama For Eagle Brothers, as well as the most-watched mini series of the entire week.

Meanwhile, Buried Hearts is also still grabbing a solid rating of 8.3 out of 10 from My Drama List viewers, although some are still not particularly positive about the K-drama’s writing, or about the relationship between the Male Lead (Park Hyung Sik) and Female Lead (Hong Hwa Yeon).

Writers didn’t have much liberty to justify FL behavior without villanizing her husband character. So their entire arc is not interesting. From the get-go it’s predictable.
