BYMENT Studios information

Not every Chinese animation studio animates many different IPs.

Some, like Guangzhou-based studio BYMENT (aka Guangzhou BYMENT Culture Communication Co. Ltd, concentrate on just a couple of properties, but then animate each series within that specific franchise to almost perfection.



BYMENT originally began its life as a comic studio, and then branched out into animation in early 2017 after a major investment funding round was extremely successful.

Since then, BYMENT has found itself a new owner in the form of Tencent, which bought a controlling interest in the animation studio back in 2020.

That acquisition allowed the animation company more opportunities for both animating donghua series, and then being able to more easily get them produced and distributed so the general public can enjoy them.

Nowadays, the studio primarily concentrates on comic production, animation production, CG and film and TV special effects.

Since BYMENT first started animating the IPs they owned/licensed, the following are the donghua series they have created.
