Introducing Catherine Sabathra of the Einberg order in the latest character trailer for the initial installment of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture‘s four-part saga who, in another world, might just be a gyaru.
A first-part, by the way, that is now showing in Japanese theaters as of May 10th.
The Catherine Sabathra character video comprises only scenes where Catherine appears, making it quite visually striking due to her design.
Catherine is voiced by Nao Toyama, known for her role as Rin in Laid-back Camp, and an actress who is superb at playing gyaru-like characters like Catherine.
Of course, Disney being affiliated with the latest release, Catherine is also dark-skinned to fit in with that company’s woke culture (a culture that seems to be destroying Disney, just like everything else it touches, if the truth were known).
But, even though she seems to have a pouty and whiny personality, you can’t deny she is very cute.
Something fans seem to be loving as well, as her YouTube video has far more views on it than those for Rose and Ash, and they were released almost a week ago.
Catherine Sabathra’s character video also showcases a snippet of the anime’s opening theme song, “Running In My Head” by rock singer and guitarist MIYAVI, which is just as bangin’ as you’d expect.
The schedule for Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture
As mentioned previously, Part 1 premiered in Japanese theaters on May 10th, with Part 2 following on June 7th, Part 3 on July 5th, and the concluding part on August 2nd.
Disney Plus will also be releasing it as an edited 12-episode anime series.
Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture is helmed by director Yoshimitsu Ohashi.
The scripts are penned by Noboru Kimura (Kokkoku), while CLAMP’s initial character designs are adapted by Takahiro Kimura, who was responsible for most of the character designs for the previous shows in the Code Geass anime franchise, and Hidekazu Shimamura, who designed characters for some of the more recent Code Geass releases.
Studio Sunrise is in charge of anime production.
This ambitious project was initially unveiled in December 2020, and is part of an impressive 10-year plan that has been set forth for the Code Geass franchise.
Yep, fans have another 10 years (at least) of this to look forward to.
As for the plot, it takes place in the same Code Geass world, but this time the narrative unfolds in Year 7 of the Kowa era, and revolves around two mercenary siblings hailing from the remnants of Hokkaido.
Ash, the athletic elder who is gifted with piloting prowess, and Rozé, the younger sibling skilled in intelligence gathering and leadership.
The pair set off on a perilous journey to rescue Empress Sakuya from the grip of the Neo Britannian Empire.
