Dog Knows Everything Ep 1 kicks Kdrama off with strong ratings – higher than Perfect Family

New KBS2 drama Dog Knows Everything, Episode 1 aired in South Korea last night to extremely strong ratings in both the nationwide and regional ratings.

According to the latest data from Nielsen Korea, Dog Knows Everything, Episode 1 earned 4.2 percent of the viewership nationwide.

That rating is a marked increase from the first episode of its predecessor Perfect Family, which aired in the same time slot on KBS2 and kicked off its run with a 2.6 percent audience share on August 14th.

Meanwhile, the first episode of Dog Knows Everything also performed well in Seoul where it grabbed 4.0 percent of the viewership.

In other words, if the new KBS2 drama performs similarly with its second episode tonight, it could indicate another hit for the Korean network.
