For Eagle Brothers Ep 2 hits even higher ratings – K-drama in #1 spot again
New KBS2 weekend drama For Eagle Brothers, Episode 2 aired last night to even higher ratings than the already excellent audience share it grabbed in South Korea on Saturday night.
So much so, Nielsen Korea is reporting For Eagle Brothers, Episode 2 earned 16.8 percent of the national audience last night, which is a big jump from the already excellent 15.5 percent it earned the night before.
That ratings increase was also seen with audiences in Seoul, where For Eagle Brothers jumped from Saturday night’s 14.7 percent audience share to last night’s 15.9 percent of the viewership.
Those ratings also meant the K-drama was easily the most-watched show of any kind for all of Sunday.
For Eagle Brothers versus Iron Family ratings
If these types of ratings continue, it is highly likely For Eagle Brothers will end up being even more successful than Iron Family, its very successful predecessor.
That weekend drama aired in the same time slot as For Eagle Brothers, and started off with lower ratings of 14.1/12.6 percent – nationwide and in Seoul — and then jumped to 14.5/12.8 percent for Episode 2.
Compare that to the much higher 15.5/14.7 percent for Episode 1, and 16.8/15.9 percent for Episode 2 that For Eagle Brothers earned, and you can easily see more people are already tuning into the new K-drama.
The Korean drama’s next two episodes air next Saturday and Sunday, February 9th and 10th, so let’s see it it can keep its quite large advantage then.
