Data via Nielsen Korea shows Good Boy, Episode 7 earning 6.36 percent of the nationwide audience, which is a small increase from the 6.21 percent Episode 6 garnered last week.

The Korean drama saw a similar small increase in Seoul, from last week’s 5.91 percent of the viewership to last night’s 6.07 percent.

And, yes, while those ratings increasing may seem tiny, do remember they equate to thousands of additional South Korean households watching Good Boy than last week.

International viewers rating Good Boy

You know a Korean drama must be good when the often-disgruntled users of My Drama List are currently rating it an 8.5 out of 10 — an excellent rating by the way as, out of the tens of thousands of dramas listed on the site, only 28 have achieved a 9.0 out of 10 or higher.

What’s even more telling is that, out of the 14,196 users of the site that began watching the drama, only 354 have dropped it. That’s under 1.0 percent.

And, more interesting than anything is that, while some people on the site that are watching Good Boy are doing nothing but complain about the writing in the comments, not one of them sees to have dropped it.

Just sayin’.

(And btw, before some of you ask why I am not including the 7.7 out of 10 on IMDB, that site has predominantly been captured by trolls for years now, and the administration refuses to do anything about it, so none of their ratings are remotely accurate or believable).

Good Boy stars the excellent ensemble cast of Park Bo GumKim So HyunOh Jung SeLee Sang YiHeo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok.

Its next episode hits both JTBC and Amazon Prime or Netflix (depending on where you live) later today.
