South Korean actor Heo Sung Tae is the latest Good Boy star to have stills released in anticipation of the Korean drama’s premiere later this year.

The new Heo Sung Tae photos show the Good Boy star playing Olympic wrestler Go Man Sik as he wrestles in the bronze medal bout at the Games.

The first three photos have the 46-year-old actor wrestling his Uzbekistan opponent.

We see him first struggling to get the grip on his opponent he needs in order to throw him to the mat, with another photo showing Man Sik himself being the person pinned.

But, as he is an athlete who is known for never giving up, it isn’t long before Man Sik is back up and throwing his opponent to the floor.

In the fourth photo, we then see Go Man Sik celebrating his victory as the referee raises his arm to show he is the Olympic bronze medal winner.

After his Olympic success, Man Sik becomes the team leader of the ‘Olympics Avengers’ — a special police force that comprises former Olympic medalists.

It is there he is able to use the endurance skills he has learned in his wrestling career to excel as a police officer.

And, by the way, I would love to know how many months Heo Sung Tae worked out to get into the shape he was in to play a professional wrestler, wouldn’t you?

Heo Sung Tae stars in Good Boy alongside Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Suk.

Stills of Kim So Hyun as Olympic shooter Ji Han Na have already been released earlier this week, with Lee Sang Yi’s stills from his performance as an Olympic fencer released yesterday.

The 16-episode K-drama Good Boy is due to premiere on JTBC later in 2024.
