One of the top 3 on my Must Watch Anime in Spring, 2025 Season, Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho, has just announced the addition of two new cast members.
The announcement came via Comic Natalie’s X account earlier today just a few days before Episode 1 hits on March 31st, along with stills (see one above) from the first episode of the upcoming fantasy action adventure anime.
The two new Sword of the Demon Hunter voice actors and their characters are:
Haruka Shamoto (Hana in Eternity: Sweet Love Story) who plays Chitose. She has known Jinta and his family since she was a child, but she isn’t as close to him as she used to be. She was also Suzune’s first friend. Her family owns a tea house.
Kentarou Kumagai (Laios in Dungeon Meshi) voices Kiyomasa. He is one of the priestess guardians of the village, but is not a particularly good swordsman. He comes off as being a bit of a jerk at first, but it turns out he may just be a little awkward. He is also the village chief’s son.

The TV anime is being directed by Kazuya Aiura, with Deko Akao in charge of series composition, and Taro Ikegami designing the characters.
