Heartbeat Ep 10 ratings INCREASE after previous episode’s all-time LOW

The South Korean drama Heartbeat, Episode 10 aired last night to higher ratings after the show dropped to an all-time low with its previous episode.

According to figures from Nielsen Korea, Heartbeat, Episode 10 earned 2.5 percent of the audience share nationwide.

That is a small increase of 0.20 percent from its previous episode.

In Seoul, the comedy drama performed even better, earning 2.9 percent of the audience share.

Both ratings, however, are still quite a drop from the first episode of the Ok Tae Yeon and Won Ji An-led drama, which premiered with 4.1 percent of the viewership both nationwide and in Seoul for its first episode.

A drop many viewers do not understand.

After all, the vampire-themed drama is well-written, truly funny and features excellent performances from all four of the main leads (the previously mentioned Ok Taec Yeon and Won Ji An, alongside Park Kang Hyun, and Yoon So Hee), but specifically from Ok and Won.

Heartbeat airs every Monday and Tuesday evening on KBS2 at 21:45 (KST).

The next two episodes will air next week on the same days and at the same time.

It streams via Amazon Prime Video outside South Korea.

Fingers crossed Heartbeat continues to grab higher and higher ratings as it and its cast deserve it.
