Heavenly Ever After EP 4 earns highest ratings yet as also increases its Netflix popularity

Ongoing Korean romantic fantasy drama Heavenly Ever After, Episode 4 continued the K-drama’s success last night by grabbing its highest ever ratings — in both Seoul and nationwide — while also increasing its popularity on Netflix.

According to data via Nielsen Korea, Heavenly Ever After, Episode 4 earned 6.38 percent of the nationwide ratings in South Korea, which is a great increase from its Saturday episode’s 5.96 percent audience share.

The JTBC drama performed even better with audiences in Seoul where it grabbed 7.22 percent of the viewership versus Saturday’s 6.75 percent.

Those ratings also made it the most-watched cable TV show for all of Sunday.

Heavenly Ever After’s popularity increases on Netflix

Meanwhile, the Korean drama continues to grow in popularity on Netflix, where it is streaming internationally.

Yesterday, the K-drama was in the Top 10 on the platform in 25 countries and in the Top 5 in 11 of those countries.

Today, via FlixPatrol, it is in the Top 10 in 27 countries — including being in the Top 5 in 18 of them.

So yep, baby, the Korean drama is still on its way up.

It appears then that, when the official Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Series chart is released tomorrow for the week of April 21st to April 27th, Heavenly Ever After is likely to be ranking very high up.

Fingers crossed, as this one is so touching and sweet. (Update: The latest Netflix data is out and, as I predicted, Heavenly Ever After is one of six dramas on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart).

Heavenly Ever After stars Kim Hye Ja, Son Suk Ku, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Chun Ho Jin, and Ryu Deok Hwan.

Its next episode will air on JTBC and stream on Netflix next Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.

Will we see its ratings rise even further then?
