Son Suk Ku hits #1 in Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings due to Troll Factory performance

The latest Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings data is out from the Korean Business Research Institute and, as you might expect, a film actor with a film that has recently opened in movie theaters is #1 on that list.

The actor (and director) is Song Suk Ku, and he is #1 on the list due to currently starring in the crime drama Troll Factory.

That film came out on March 27th and has earned around $6.7 million at the South Korean box office so far so, no, it’s not a huge hit considering Exhuma has earned close to $100 million, but it has been a moderate success without even releasing outside South Korea yet.

The Ahn Gooc Jin-directed film has also garnered some decent attention on social media, and in online forums.

Song Suk Ku (who is represented by SBD Entertainment) is #1 in the April Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings (via data collected from March 16th to April 16th, 2024), with a brand reputation index of 5,796,780.

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the index is calculated using a participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.
