With still almost half a year to go before the action adventure anime From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman premieres, the production committee has been doing a stellar job already getting fans excited for what’s to come.
Today’s latest promo piece for From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman is a new character trailer — this time for Ficelle Harbeller — along with an announcement that voice actress Hinaki Yano (Nikola in Quality Assurance in Another World) will voice her.
The Ficelle Harbeller character trailer shows the highly-skilled swordswoman talking about learning her skills from her teacher, and how she has put that training to good use. (watch video down below)
Along with the trailer, which features Hinaki Yano’s voice, Ficelle Harbeller’s cute character designs were also released showing the adorable but deadly sword wielder in typical defense mode, along with her facial designs and full body visual.
After commenting it appears fans think the “old country bumpkin” of the title is “cool”, voice actress Hinaki Yano promised “to bring out the richness of Fissel’s facial expressions!” to make the anime even more fun to watch.

But, once he arrives in the capital city, he discovers other former adoring students are also involved, and none of them have any intention of allowing him to go back to the small village he has been wasting his swordsmanship skills in up until now.
