Jinshi’s The Apothecary Diaries Halloween visual is of a perfectly beautiful nine-tailed fox

Is anyone surprised that, with the latest The Apothecary Diaries Halloween visual being released, it is not only Jinshi but it is Jinshi dressed up as a nine-tailed fox?

I know I’m not.

Come on, if any character in The Apothecary Diaries is perfect to portray an intelligent, beautiful, utterly elegant but crafty nine-tailed fox, that person is obviously the imperial prince Jinshi.

In this visual too he elegantly sits with his marvelously fluffy nine tails waving around him, and his ears twitching suggestively, as he holds a cigarette holder in his outstretched hand.

The new Jinshi Halloween visual follows on from his attendant Gaoshun earlier in the week as thunder god Leizhenzi, and Lady Gyokuyo as the Bull Demon King’s wife Princess Iron Fan.

It also comes with a teaser video featuring Jinshi, as voiced by actor Takeo Ootsuka, laughing teasingly, and then saying in a sexily flirty voice (likely to Maomao) “Don’t take it or eat it. Just come here”. (watch that down below)

The Apothecary Diaries still on MAL’s Top 25 Anime of All-Time list

Meanwhile, we are also expecting more information about The Apothecary Diaries anime Season 2 in an announcement scheduled for tomorrow.

Fingers crossed we will find out that our desperate wait will bear fruit soon, as this anime is at the top of millions of people’s lists for the most-anticipated second season in a long time.

The anime itself is also currently in My Anime List’s Top 25 Anime of All-Time, with over a quarter of a million anime fans giving it excellent ratings.

Quite a feat when you consider just how many anime series are released every year (hundreds this year alone), let alone how many have been made in the last few decades.

You can watch the entire first season of The Apothecary Diaries on Crunchyroll, featuring Jinshi in his usual still-romantic attire, and check back to Leo Sigh tomorrow for the latest news about Season 2.
