Korean actor Joo Won’s agency, Ghost Entertainment, has confirmed the 35-year-old actor is considering an offer to star in the upcoming drama Night Photo Studio (literal title).
According to Korean news media, the drama, which is known as 야한사진관 in Korean, is a rom-com that follows a photographer whose family has been taking photos of people who have recently died for more than a century.
His life becomes even more interesting, however, when he meets a woman who saves him from dying, and who helps show him the importance of life.
If he accepts the role, Joo Won would play the main role of photographer Seo Gi Joo.
There is no word yet about the actress who will be acting alongside him.
The announcement of Joo Won’s possible involvement in Night Photo Studio is the first project that has been announced since his lead role as Hwang Dae Myung in Stealer: The Treasure Keeper — a tvN drama that is scheduled to premiere on April 12th.
Last year, the Korean actor starred in the hit Netflix action thriller movie Carter.
With having only recently signed with Ghost Entertainment, though, it is likely his new agency will be making sure he is even busier going forward.
Fingers crossed.
Meanwhile, here Joo Won is in a GQ Korea interview that was filmed late last year. Adorable, isn’t he?
We will keep you posted as we learn more about the Night Photo Studio drama.
